Babies-5th grade
We exist to help families and their children (Babies-5th grade) connect, grow, serve, and go. RDBC Kids focuses on teaching children the fundamentals of their faith with age-appropriate curriculum, provides opportunities for families to connect, and supports the parents as they disciple their children.

Sunday Mornings:
9:45am: Sunday School Classes (Babies-Toddlers, Pre-School-Kinder, 1st-5th)
~Focus on Biblical learning and building relationships.
11am: Nursery|Pre-school to 2nd grade (5th Sunday is Family Sunday. Nursery only)
~Focus on Biblical learning and helping kids have fun while parents are in big church!

5:30pm Meal for all ages
6pm: HYFI (Pre-school to Kinder Class & 1st-5th grade class)

What we teach:
For Sunday School we use The Biggest Story. This curriculum adapted for our littles, walks through the whole Bible beginning to end. Our teachers prioritize Biblical literacy and developmentally appropriate activities for the kids.
For Children’s Church and Wednesday Nights we use HYFI. A digitally based, relationship focused curriculum, helping us get to know Jesus and one another better.
We encourage kids to bring their own Bibles and open them during each Bible lesson. Older kids are encouraged to read and pray aloud!

Safety + Procedures:
At RDBC KIDS, creating a safe and welcoming environment for every child is one of our main priorities. All of our volunteers complete a background check and participate in ongoing training throughout the year. In addition, every classroom is consists of two adult leaders at all times.
We use Planning Center Check-In to ensure secure and efficient drop-off and pick-up. Each child receives a printed name label that includes their name, parent phone number, allergy information, and any notes our volunteers need to know. Parents receive a matching security sticker, which is required for pick-up at the end of service.
Snacks are provided only with parental permission to ensure every child’s safety.
